PLUG TOP COILS Recommendation - Due to operating time andaging, the spark plug connector becomes brittle and thusuntight in the sealing area of the spark plug, which maycause misfiring. 1) Switch off the ignition. Wait for 15minbefore demounting the ignition coil.This prevents voltagepeaks that could destroy control devices.2) Remove thedefective coil. 3) Apply a thin film of BERU spark plugconnector grease ZKF 01(order no. 0 890 300 029) into theinner part of the connector. 4) Attach the spark plugconnector to the coil. 5) Mount the coil with the connectoron the spark plug (heed the tightening torque). 6) Checktheprimary connector contacts for oxidation and clean it, ifrequired.
